Getting more mobile

Mummy has tried to illustrate in this short series of photographs that I can now walk holding on to my walker! I am getting a bit cocky as you can see, and will often turn around to look at what's happening behind me, or hold on with just one hand so I can point at important things like Noah's ark toys or the blocks in the walker, or a That's Not My book. Sometimes I get really cavalier and just lean with one elbow, which Mummy thinks makes me look veyr louche.

I'm getting very handy at cruising about the furniture and shuffling around on my bottom - all of which means I'm not really interested in trying to crawl. Mummy thinks I'm going to go straight to walking as I can stand up on my own for at least 1.5 seconds before realising what I'm doing and falling over!

At the park... again!

Nana and Grandpa came with us to the park at Marlow - here I am wrapped up in my winter coat and hat trying to keep toasty in the chilly November weather! Mummy was relieved to see my back to my old self after a nasty ear infection and burst ear drum which she says had caused the worst week of her life to date! I think that might have been an exaggeration (she did used to be an estate agent after all) but it was probably the sleep deprivation talking.

I've now got 5 teeth but you can't often see them in photographs as I keep them well hidden.

Megan's first birthday party 7 November

Another one of my friends turned one! We had a birlliant time staying at Jo and Callum's and visiting a lot of our friends back in Wyton and St Ives. Meg's party on the Sunday was fab with lots of toys - I loved the Rody horse and the rocking horse, and of course nothing like a good old fashioned balloon to keep one entertained. I was even very brave when the balloons popped (repeatedly) and didn't even flinch!

Here I am playing with the Rody horse with Daddy.

Colour co-ordinated the balloon with my outfit. Very matchy matchy.

I loved the rocking horse and also took the opportunity to get my pointy finger out, which I use a lot to demand things from Mummy and Daddy.

Party pooped!

First trip abroad (unless you count Scotland and Wales)

We went to France! And I loved it. We stayed in a little B&B in a place called Tournes, near Le Touquet and Boulogne. I immediately loved the owners, Carolyn and Francois, and also rather liked their two German pointers. We had a lovely time visiting Le Touquet, St Omer and Boulogne. Here is a photographic taster of the trip for you - including a Halloween special!

Staplehurst Park

Mummy used to go to this park on her way home from school and here I am having fun there with Nana and Mummy another generation on! The roundabout was my favourite... but Mummy and Nana didn't seem so keen for some reason.
