Supermodel photoshoot

Mummy went to introduce me to our new neighbours here in Beaconsfield this week. It turns out Noni is doing a photography course and needed a model to practice on for her Portraits assignment.... one beautiful baby plus one lovely photographer = lots of stunning free pictures for mummy to spend hours going googly eyed over! Thanks to Nana for the hand-knitted white cardigan :)

Christening - Sunday 19th September 2010

What a wonderful day! Mummy said the morning of preparation was a lot less stressful than she had expected because we had so much help from Nan and Pops, Nana and Grandpa, Maddy and Alex who were all on catering and Eva-sitting duties at various points in the day! The day was also made possible by Justine and Rich and Isobel lending us their house for the weekend so were able to prepare the food in the morning - phew!

Here I am with Mummy and Daddy and all my Godparents: Evan, Annie and Maddy.

Nana and Mummy think this photo looks like I'm praising God. Very appropriate.

I really enjoyed the ceremony and the vicar didn't seem to mind me blowing raspberries at her throughout the service, or joining in when she was talking, or even trying to eat the order of service. She was a very patient vicar. She also didn't seem to mind when I tried to get into the font - Mummy thinks she was just relieved I didn't cry or flinch when she put the water on my head! I just wanted to go swimming!

This was the first time we managed to get a photo with the whole family in! Mummy and Daddy were so pleased!

For the ceremony I wore a very old family Christening robe which Mummy, Uncle Matt, Uncle Dan and Grandpa were all christened in - but we think it originally belonged to my Great, Great Grandpa! Mummy was very relieved that I didn't rip it or spill anything on it! It took several people to help getting me into it and in fact I was a bit too big for it - we had to leave the bottom button undone!

Here you can see me enjoying sitting in Isobel's vey grand antique high chair here carb-loading ready for my big afternoon ahead.

Mummy's 29th birthday party

Mummy had a lovely birthday lunch at everyone's favourite pub, The Cock in Hemingford Grey. Mummy was so pleased to see lots of her lovely friends, but my favourite bit was when my two baby friends Louis and Megan came for drinks after lunch!

Saying goodbye to Sara and Louis

It was really sad to say goodbye to Sara and Louis and all our other friends when we left Wyton on the Hill. Mummy was sad to leave the house where I was born and we will miss all our lovely friends every day but hope to keep in touch so I will always know my first friends. Mummy thought it was rather nice that the first time I met Louis we had our photo taken propped up on the sofa, and now we are standing up in front of it! We look forward to the photo where we don't have to hold on to the table any more! Watch this space....

On holiday in the Lake District

Daddy started his French course in Beaconsfield on Monday but we had already booked our holiday in the Lakes with Nana, Grandpa, Nan, Pops, Uncle Danny and Danielle so Mummy and I went and let Daddy get some much needed sleep for his first week of study! We visited Beatrix Potter's house, walked around Tarn Hows and Grasmere, went swimming twice, went to the Beatrix Potter gallery in Hawkshead, had LOTS of tea and cake at the amazing Giggling Goose cafe in Ambleside and played lots of games. I loved watching Uncle Danny, Mummy, Danielle, Grandpa and Pops play badminton and spent most of the week waving at people and learning how to clap. Nana and Grandpa and Nan and Pops looked after me one day so Mummy could go on a proper walk in the fells with Dan and Danni.

Sponsored by Great Auntie Janice

It seems hardly a day goes by that I'm not wearing something that Great Auntie Janice bought me! Here I am modelling my dressing gown, teddy bear gillet and bath towel in the Lake District.

Nana and Grandpa come to stay - 20 August

Holding onto toys in my bouncer

Recently I'm not content to simply bounce - I also like to have a prop. Favourites include my Elmer toy from Annie, Dave and Elliot, my teddy from Mark and Phyllis, my pink cat from Great Auntie Janice and Margaret and my handmade bunny from Great Auntie Lesley in Australia.
