My first holiday

We went to Yorkshire and stayed in a B&B in Sinnington. Mummy and Daddy took me for a walk to the Bridestones, a drive through Scarborough and then we went to Robin Hood's bay and I saw the sea for the first time!
We spent a day visiting the local villages and I was quite taken with the look of Daddy's milkshake.... and we went to York for a day (my first time on a bus!) and saw the market and the minster.

Mummy and Daddy put a white sheet on my changing mat and took lots of photos to try to get it just right to meet all the regulations! It got through first time - so now we can go to Germany this year to see Vicki and Jon Berrie.

Mummy and Daddy go to the cinema

Nana and Grandpa babysat so Mummy and Daddy could go to the cinema for the first time since I was born. They saw Clash of the Titans in 3D - the first 3D film they'd seen at the cinema! (They were a bit behind the drag curve on that one... wonder why...)

Feeding on the move

Mummy often has to feed me on the move as I get hungry a lot and eat very sporadically at the moment! Here we were on a walk at Broughton having been out for a drink at the Crown and I decided it was my turn for a drink....

Helping Grandpa in the garden

I don't normally like my bouncy chair very much but this day I fell asleep in it all afternoon... while Grandpa worked hard in the garden!

Still playing on my activity gym every day - it makes me move my arms and legs about in excitement and I love to bat the toys and ring the bells in the rattles!

23 March - recovering from the wedding

Mummy and Eva just stayed at home quietly for 2 days after the wedding as it had been so overwhelming for Eva - lots of cuddles and lots of excitement!

Out for walks and trips to the pub with Sara and Louis every week

First stay in a hotel

We stayed in a hotel for Uncle Matt and Auntie Kims' wedding - Eva was brilliant and had cuddles with all the wedding guests!

Visiting Nan and Pops in Kent

A couple of visits to Nan and Pops in March - and another bath in the kitchen sink! Plus lots of sleeping (!) and Eva's first meeting with Great Nan.

Supporting Daddy in the Bath Half Marathon in March

We watched Daddy and Maddy run past once, then headed for much needed refreshments with Evan and Gemma and missed the 2nd lap! But Daddy let me borrow his medal anyway.

First trip on a train

We went to visit some friends of Mummy's in London... Mummy was really excited about taking me on the train for the first time....




...But for me the excitement was just overwhelming as you can see!

She keeps dressing me up in funny outfits. What happened to my babygros?! Here I am in my first pair of jeans, and in a retro 80's outfit which was one of mummy's favourites.

My first swim - age 5 weeks

This was just magic. We went swimming at Parkside pool in Cambridge. Nana and Grandpa and Great Auntie Janice came as logistical and moral support, and Sara and Louis came for a swim too. Eva was spellbound by the lights and the shapes of the flumes coming down across the ceiling, and loved being floated about on her back.
